I’ve been so lazy with blogging!! Seriously I haven’t even edited my drafts or anything. The past few days, nothing exciting has happened (except for 2PM Concert!!), just been eating and stuff, so I haven’t bothered with starting new entries. September has arrived and the weather has gotten cooler so it has put me in a better mood! School started on Friday (officially on Thursday but I had no classes) and it was really boring. I am so not ready to get back into study mode T_T.
Anyway, the day before class started for me, I had an ice cream waffle at Beans Bins!
Day 30 was spent at home sick, but also got much needed rest for a full day of fun and play for Day 31!!
Had Church as usual in the morning, then went to 본죽 (porridge chain store) in Myeongdong. I shared one with Jha Hyun for about 10 000W but definitely more than enough for the both of us. Continue reading
I left my camera at home that day so I didn’t take any photos. Rose and I went to Myeongdong and shopped for around 6 hours! It was crazy. I also tried the loooong soft serves that they have on almost every corner! I can’t remember if it costs 1 500W or 2 000W but I had a vanilla and green tea one. It was soo nice. The texture is so foamy and creamy at the same time. Definitely need to go get another one soon!!
I got my perm done at a hair salon called Demon Hair in Edae. The night before Jha Hyun and I were online looking for places to do a perm. We wanted Park Shin Hye’s hair in Heartstrings and found several blogs with girls who had gotten a similar one, but at Demon Hair the hairdressers told us it wasn’t actually a perm and that Park Shin Hye’s hairstylist just did her hair every time ~_~. Okay whatever. They agreed to ‘attempt’ it on us anyway.
I had Japanese curry for dinner on Day 26 but seeing as the day was mostly uneventful, I didn’t write a separate entry for it.
It tasted alright. I was just really craving curry & rice. And it only cost 6 500W. Continue reading
On Monday, I went to Myeongdong Cathedral again for mass in my new vans. They were way too small for me (I’m so bad at buying shoes, I always get the wrong size I swear) so my feet were covered in blisters by the time mass ended. Luckily Andrea and the others hadn’t left yet and I was able to find a pay phone and call her to bring me the box my shoes came in as well as my thongs (for me to change into). After an hour of standing at Myeongdong station waiting for them, I could finally get out of my way-too-small vans ):. I exchanged them at the ABC Mart in Myeongdong, thanks to Jha Hyun who acted a my translator! Continue reading
Usually on Sundays, after waking up early for mass, I go home and take a nap. Last Sunday though, as soon as I got back, I had to pack everything to get ready to move rooms. Two other girls from my uni are coming to Korea on Exchange and we were going to stay together, meaning the 4 of us needed a new room with enough beds!
What our current room looks like from the corner of my bunk. Continue reading
