I got my perm done at a hair salon called Demon Hair in Edae. The night before Jha Hyun and I were online looking for places to do a perm. We wanted Park Shin Hye’s hair in Heartstrings and found several blogs with girls who had gotten a similar one, but at Demon Hair the hairdressers told us it wasn’t actually a perm and that Park Shin Hye’s hairstylist just did her hair every time ~_~. Okay whatever. They agreed to ‘attempt’ it on us anyway.
On Sunday, Jonggon (one of the guys we met Friday night) took us to a dance battle! It was called ‘Krump Session Vol.10’, and was a battle for krumpers. Entry was 15 000W and took place at a club in Hongdae called Noise Basement 1 (NB2 is across the road).
On Friday, I ate 계란말이김밥 (kimbap wrapped up in egg) for brunch on Siying’s behalf. I also had banana milk (바나나 우유) for the first time and had deja vu!
As soon as I tasted it, this familiar feeling came to me. I swear I’ve had something solid with the same flavour when I was a kid. I keep thinking it’s ice cream I had when I was living in HK but no name or actual image has come to me and it’s really frustrating me! I bought another one just now and will have it for breakfast tomorrow. I totally understand the big deal with banana milk now!
Headed to Hongdae (홍대) yesterday to go to Bau Haus Dog Cafe (the one Taemin took his noona to on a date)! We passed by Snow Spoons, a frozen yoghurt and dessert place. I’m not a big fan of yoghurt, but frozen yoghurt is so good. The store is so clean and cute, too!
